It's nerve-racking, all this waiting. After nearly a month of preparation, I'm going to write a novel in that span of time.
The only thing running through my mind is, Holy crap. What the heck did I get myself into.

Tea
Ah, here's a random post. I tried my first cup of tea today. It was Pomegranate Green Tea, and it was made for a coffee machine thingy.
I had high expectations for it. Everyone seems to love it in my family, so I took a nice, hearty gulp.
It tasted like water. It was either watered down or just really crappy tea. So, that concludes my adventure. I think I'll stick with hot chocolate.

Count Down
As the days fly by, I find myself reviewing my meager notes, (badly) drawing characters, and imagining the relationships between them. I've been practicing the present tense, doing daily writing exercises, and looking up ways to make my writing better.
This is all obviously to shake off my nerves. I'm sure of it. My subconscious is telling me to be very, very afraid.

Camp WriMo
It's official: I'm joining Camp WriMo!
What is Camp WriMo, you ask? Well, it's made by the same people who started NaNoWriMo. Basically, you set a word goal (usually 25,000 or 50,000) and write until the end of July. Then it starts all over again in August. If you haven't joined yet, I highly suggest you do. The satisfaction of actually finishing a novel is just...great!
That's why I've been working my butt of to come up with good ideas for it. However, those are going to be kept a secret. You'll just have to wait!
From now until the end of July, most of the posts are probably going to relate to Camp WriMo. So keep your hands and feet inside the cart at all times. This is going to be a wild ride!

And a Blog Was Born
This post is really just so I can announce that the site is officially up and running! I took a bit of work, but I think it's at least presentable. Of course, I'm open to suggestions! Well, that's it, really. Have a good...whatever time of day it is where you live!
